UxVienna Book Club
April 25 @ 19:00 - 21:30
HOW IT WORKS
Every third Thursday (this time it is the 4th Thursday due to Easter) we’ll meet in the evening to talk about a UX/UX related design book. It would be great if you get round to actually reading the book; however, if you only manage to read parts of it, that is totally fine, too. We will provide a summary to refresh your memory and to make sure everyone can take part in the discussion.
WHAT’S THIS MONTH’S BOOK?
Ellen Lupton’s ‚Design is Storytelling‘ (more about the book here: https://www.cooperhewitt.org/publications/design-is-storytelling/)
From last month’s deep dive into the technologies that enable our digital experiences, this month we will explore storytelling to help designers amplify the narrative power of their work.
WHAT EXACTLY HAPPENS AT THE UxVIENNA BOOK CLUB?
After a short round of introductions, we will jump right in and discuss the book’s main topics. For this, we have some questions prepared–if you get a chance, we would love for you to also think of some questions or topics you want to discuss.
Since most UX books are in English, we will mostly stick to English – if everybody speaks German, too, we can mix it up 🙂
HOW ABOUT FOOD AND DRINKS?
We will provide some drinks and small snacks. For proper food, we can order dinner at the beginning of the evening.
